August 9, The Sperryville Rescue Squad carried Gilbert Cosden from his home in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
August 28, The Sperryville Rescue Squad carried Frank Stringfellow from a wreck on Rt. 211 to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Later that evening the rescue squad responded to a call at the home of Johnny Burke, where they carried Charlie Frazier to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. The rescue squad was also called to a home in Woodville, but services were not needed.
