The Constitution of Virginia requires that you be registered in the precinct in which you live in order to be qualified to vote.
In order to be eligible to vote in the General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 2, 1976, you must register no later than 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 1976.
You are hereby notified that the Registration Office of Rappahannock County located at the address shown below will be open for registration on Saturday, October 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., for the purpose of registering qualified persons to vote at the General Election to be held on November 2, 1976.
You are further notified that I shall sit on Saturday, October 23, 1976 and Saturday October 30, 1976 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the address shown below mainly for the purpose of accepting applications for absentee ballots for this General Election. October 30, 1976 is the last day on which such applications for absentee ballots may be made in person by qualified applicants for this General Election.
