The annual Constitution Day program sponsored by the William Byrd Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution of Richmond is scheduled for Saturday, September 11 at 2 p.m. The program will be held at James Madison Cemetery at Montpelier Station in Orange County.
Alf J. Mapp, Jr. author and teacher, will be guest speaker with his topic President James Madison. Mapp is an associate professor at Old Dominion University in Norfolk. He is the author of five books and more than 600 articles which have been published around the world, many in nine languages.
