PROBATION District Office 25 on the east end of the Warrenton By-pass opened its doors to clients on August 1, but didn’t get around to having an open house until last Thursday, September 2. At the open house that afternoon, staff members explained to private citizens and public officials die reasons for opening the new office and the goals of the program.
Probation officer Mike Fling explained that District 25 used to be a part of District 11 in Front Royal, but was made a separate entity because of limited office space in Front Royal and because if was too far away for Loudoun and Fauquier clients. Now, instead of being part of District 11, which included almost all of Northern Virginia, District 25 handles clients from only Fauquier, Loudoun and Rappahannock counties.
