Mr. and Mrs. Walter Grimsley and Andy of Castleton were dinner guests Sunday of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Grimsley.
Houseguests of Mr. and Mrs. Judd Burke from Sunday until Tuesday last week were Mrs. Betty Light, Sherri and Stephen of Hopewell. Mr. and Mrs. Burke were Monday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Clatterbuck in Centreville.
Mrs. Eleanor Timmons and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Lochridge, all of Alexandria, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Curtis and they visited Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Lynn in Luray.
Bobby Welch of Franklin spent several days last week with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Welch.
Miss Joyce Walker of Falls Church spent from Thursday until Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker. Mrs. Walker and Joyce, joined by Mrs. Margaret Roberson of Winchester, were Friday visitors of the Rev. and Mrs. Claude Cook in Culpeper.
Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Welch spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. William R. Welch Jr., Skipper and Billy in Roanoke.
Women’s
Club Picnic
The annual family picnic of the Rappahannock Women’s Club will be held at the Rappahannock Recreation Center, Rt. 211, Washington, on Sunday. July 13, at 3 p.m. The rain date is July 20.
Members and their families are requested to bring a salad or dessert dish and provide their own beverage. Those unable to attend should notify Mary Schumaker or Jean Lillard.

Dean s List
Kenneth A. Norman has been named to the Dean’s List at Northern Virginia Community College, Manassas, for the spring quarter with an average of 3.6 He also made the Dean’s List for the year.
Kenneth is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David M. Norman of Woodville. He is majoring in Construction Management Technology.
Mt. Salem
Revival
Revival services will be held at Mt. Salem Baptist Church near Washington from July 27-August 1 each evening at 8. The pastor, the Rev. Bobby Rooper of Culpeper, will be speaking each evening and special music will be provided.
Services are held each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
