Pap Clinic
A Pap Ginic is scheduled for next Thursday, July 17 at the Rappahannock Health Department from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. For an appointment at the clinic, call 675-3636 or 937-5685. Use these numbers only-do not call the health department.
The clinic is sponsored by the health department and the Rappahannock Unit, American Cancer Society, and is particularly aimed toward women past childbearing age who do not have a personal physician.
Cub Day Camp
Cub Scout Pack 123 of Washington participated in the Cub day camp at Camp Rock Enon in Gore on Saturday, June 28. The boys enjoyed swimming, boating, hiking plus trying their skills on the rifle and archery range. Cubs attending were Brendan Finnerty, Martin Chaffee, David Fisher, William Compton, Joey Eldred, Wesley Jenkins, Scotty Turnmeyer, Michael Payne, Aaron Welch, Fred A us berry, Eric Robinson and Den Chief Chad Bear. Adult leaders were Robert Jenkins, Wayne Payne, Midge Finnerty and Karen Bear.
Rescue
The Sperryville Rescue Squad transported Theodore Pellegatta of Arlington from Five Forks Farm July 3 to Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
On July 5 Pamela Rutherford was taken from her home in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital and Neil Samson was taken to the same hospital on July 7 from Peyton Farm Estates.
The Flint Hill Rescue Squad took Mrs. Grover Atkins from her home near Flint Hill July 5 to Warren Memorial Hospital.
