Travel in shenandoah National Park has begun an upward trend after months of declining travel. In June there was an increase of 36.6 per cent over that month a year ago—202,200 in 1980 compared to 148,000 in June 1979.
The calendar year of 1979 showed 586,800 persons visiting the Park through June while in 1980 the total to date is 600,400, or a 2.3 per cent increase.
