The Rappahannock supervisors will hold a special meeting Wednesday morning, June 24, to discuss vacancies left by the plague of resignations that has struck the county in the last week.
In letters dated June 9, both zoning administrator Evan McNear and Patty Alexander, secretary to the zoning administrator and clerk for the board of zoning appeals, announced their resignations, effective July 1.
After holding the position for the past 12 years, McNear said in his letter to supervisor chairman E. P. Luke that he was quiting for personal reasons.
