Dr. John Einarson, director of the health department for the five counties of Orange, Madison, Culpeper, Fauquier and Rappahannock, had no comment on Monday. Appointed just last year as the replacement for Dr. R. S. LeGarde, Einarson said he’d been briefed on the situation but hadn’t yet given it thorough study.
