Mr. and Mrs. Brew Burke entertained at a birthday celebration Sunday in honor of Mrs. Burke’s mother, Mrs. Maggie Grigsby. Guests were Mary Magee and Beth and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Compton, all of Amissville; Mrs. Girtha Grigsby, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Grigsby and Mrs. Edna Woodward, Tabby Sue, John and Jeffery, all of Castleton; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bayne, Melissa, Ricky and Michelle of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. K. P. Grigsby.
A. B. Hawkins returned to his borne in Chicago, 111., Monday after a visit with his sisters, their families and other relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Cobb, Tina and Timothy of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., were guests of her mother, Mrs. Opie Crawford, Curtis and Ray last week. Mr. and Mrs. James Sykes and Brad and Roy Sykes of Fairlea, W. Va., joined them for several days.
Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Bauckman of Culpeper were guests Monday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Clark and Misty Hitt. The Clarks and Misty were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Corker, Donald, Jessica and Eddie at Beaverdam.
