Discussion of how best to purify the water from the new town well was the main topic at a very brief town council meeting Wednesday, June 10.
The council was pleased with the success of the new well which had just been completed on the Updike property outside of town. The well, dug in the sjxrt picked out by a state geologist, produced 150 gallons of water after 53 hours of continuous pumping. Water from the well is not yet accessible to the town, as health department testing must be completed before hooking up.
