Miss Terri Marie Ruhl became the bride of Carroll Lee Fox, Jr., on May 16, 1981 at the Arlington Forest United Methodist Church. Both are from Arlington, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Pennington of Henricks, West Virginia. Mr. Fox is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Lee Fox, Sr. of Castleton.
The Rev. Wade Munford performed the double ring ceremony at one o’clock, and George Keenan was vocalist.
The church was decorated with arrangements of mixed flowers and greenery.
The bride was given in marriage by her greatgrandfather, Cicero H. Tesh of Arlington. She wore a formal gown of white organza fashioned with a high neckline and fitted bodice enhanced with beaded Alencon lace. The sheer bishop sleeves had matching pointed lace cuffs and the straight skirt which ended in a chapel train was edged in the chosen lace. Her long veil of illusion was bordered with matching lace and scattered appliques.
The bride’s bouquet was a cascade of large white carnations and white roses with babies breath.
