On Thursday, the Panthers travel to Mount Jackson to face the Generals, followed by a home game against Manassas Park on Friday night. Next Monday, they play Brentsville at home, then move to Brentsville on Wednesday to face the Tigers on their home court.
The junior varsity Panthers have also had a successful season thus far, sitting in third place in the district standings. The JV Panthers alsobeat Page last Friday, 47-42, with Kevin Joliffe leading the scoring. Joliffe also leads the offense on the season, followed by Greg Pendleton, Tyrone Starks, Jonathan Fletcher and Patrick O’Meara, all of whom are averaging between five and 10 points a game.' •
“The Panthers play two good games each night,” Coach Leake said, lauding the efforts of the junior varsity squad as well. “Anyone who comes out is guaranteed to see two good games.”
Junior varsity games begin at 6 p.m., with the varsity contest following at 7:30 p.m.
