Your advice on what to do with leftover Christmas trees (Rappahannock News, Jan. 3) was good.
But why do you say “Christmas has come and gone?” After all, on this very day, my true love gave to me ten dancers dancing. I am still expecting eleven iQfds a’leaping and twelve drummers drumming. And I haven’t even figured out what to do with the partridge in the pear tree that I received nine days ago.
You dispose of Christmas so quickly. I suppose, because you are tired of it. The malls maul Christmas beginning in October; muzaked carols are unavoidable soon thereafter.
