Gregory Bright
Gregory Allen Bright, 29, of Sperryville, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 1991 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
He was bom Dec. 30, 1961 in Culpeper County, the son of Margaret Bright and Claude Bright, both of Sperryville. He was a carpenter and also played in a band. He was a member of Sperryville United Methodist Church and a graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
Additional survivors besides his parents are three brothers, Gary Bright, Donald Bright and Daniel Bright, all of Sperryville; one sister, Gwen Bright of Sperryville and his grandmothers, Carrie Jenkins of Sperryville and Bessie Bright of Middleburg.
Graveside services were held Sunday, Feb. 3 at Sperryville Cemetery with the Rev. Merlin Shorb officiating.
Active pallbearers were Tim Brown, Ron Wilson, Norh Wagner, Charles Eldred, Justin Corbin, Daniel Bright, Jeff Jenkins and John Jenkins III.
Honorary pallbearers were Gary Leake, Tony Wayland, Larry Settle, Gary Settle, Mike Leake and Jim Logan.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Earl Clanagan
Earl Festus Clanagan, 74, of Washington, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 1991 at LifeCare Nursing Home in New Market.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rachel and Festus Clanagan.
He was a fanner and a native of Rappahannock County.
