thy Clanagan; four children, John Clanagan of Manassas, Earl Clanagan of Washington, Joe Clanagan and Vieda Page, both of Cumberland, Md.; one brother, Robbie Clanagan; 15 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Washington Saturday, Feb. 2 with the Rev. Forest Freeman of Washington officiating. Interment was in the family section of the Clanagan cemetery in Washington.
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Laura Coates
Laura Douglas Coates, 77, of Culpeper, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 1991, at the Meadowbrook home near Reva.
A native of Rappahannock County, she was the duaghter of the late Charles Clifton and Nellie Burke Fincham and the widow of Ross Robert Coates. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Culpeper.
She is survived by two sons, Ross Robert Coates Jr. of Culpeper and David Kelly Coates of Columbia, S.C.; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Vincent Painter of Culpeper and Mrs. Early Sisk of Sperryville.
A graveside funeral was held on Monday, Feb. 4 in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper, the Rev. Brian Crane officiating.
Geest-Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Hugh Jenkins
Hugh Vem Jenkins, 67, died January 18, 1991, in Bushnell, Florida.
Mr. Jenkins was a native of Culpeper County and the son of the late McKinley Jenkins Sr. and Esther Dodson Jenkins.
