Frances Broyles
Mrs. Frances Jenkins Broyles, 70, of Leon, died Thursday, Jan. 81, 1991 at her residence.
Mrs. Broyles was bom March 20, 1920 in Madison County, the daughter of the late Isiah Jenkins and Neva Coates.
Survivors include her husband, Wallace Broyles; one daughter, Barbara Broyles White of Whiteshop, Va.; one granddaughter, Wendy M. White of Whiteshop; one grandson, Craig Stephen Broyles of Whiteshop; three sisters, Florine Jenkins of Culpeper, Rachel Ford of Brightwood and Ruth Pierce of Culpeper; one brother, Carson Jenkins of Melbourne, FI. and one half-sister, Golden Kennedy of Slate Mills.
Funeral services were held at Clore Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, Feb. 2 with the Rev. Kenneth Huneycutt officiating. Interment was in- Bethel Baptist Church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jake Ford, Mark Ford, Jeff Ford, Craig Pierce, Randy Newman and Bobby Jenkins.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, the American Heart Association or Madison Rescue Squad.
Lilly Hall
Lilly Devers Hall, 90, of Boyce, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 1991 in the Winchester Medical Center. -
A graveside service was conducted Friday, Feb. 1 at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal by the Rev. John M. Emert.
Mrs. Hall was bom Dec. 2, 1900 in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late James H. ahd Mattie Cook Devers. She was retired from National Fruit and was a member of the Boyce Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Clifford R. Hall.
Surviving are one daughter, Judy Hall of Boyce; one sister, Mattie Propst of McLean; three brothers, James William Devers of Alexandria, John B. Devers of Arlington and Robert A. Devers of Boyce.
Jones Funeral Home in Winchester was in charge of the arrangements.
