February is the American Heart Association’s Heart Month, and on Valentine’s Day, Thursday, Feb. 14, the Rappahannock County Health Department will sponsor a “Be Good to Your Heart Fair.”
The event will be held at the Health Department office on Main St. in Washington from noon until 4:30 p.m., and will include free blood pressure screening and glucose (blood sugar) testing. Blood cholesterol screening will also be offered in cooperation with Fauquier Hospital’s laboratory for a $5 fee.
