You will want to be assured that your contributions actually benefit our community. There is always a cost to fundraising, which the AHA has allowed to be 15 percent. Only 7 percent is spent on management and general overhead. The remaining 78 percent of campaign proceeds goes directly to benefit our own community, spent for research, professional and public education and a variety of community services.
