Class of 1972 plans reunion
The Rappahannock High Class of 1972 is preparing for its 20-year reunion, and wants to hear from any classmates from the years 1970-74 who want to participate in the dinner-dance tentatively slated for May.

‘Best of Both Worlds’ at library
"The Best of Both Worlds," living and working in Rappahannock County, will be the subject of this month's First Friday Lecture Series at the Rappahannock Library, 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7.
Some of the county's most successful business people will speak, including Martin Woodard of Faith Mountain Co., Kerri Wagner of Sycamore Hill House and Gardens bed and breakfast, Kay Bare of Pet Tailor, Nan and Jim Thomasson of Country Heritage, Vinnie DeLuise of Four and Twenty Blackbirds, and Craig Landrum from Blue Ridge Technology.
The program is free. No babysitting will be available.
Williams stars in ‘Fisher Kins’
"The Fisher King," starring Robin Williams and Jeff Bridges, is the Sunday night movie at The Theatre at Washington, .Va., sponsored by the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC).
Williams is a dynamo as an apparently deranged homeless man who talks to invisible people and believes that a 'knight is pursuing him.
The offbeat epic fuses myth with hardedged reality; a thoroughly engaging experience.
The showtime is 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9 at the theater on Gay Street. Rated R; 137 minutes. Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for children.
