A very special congratulations to Curtiss and Hazel Zinn who will celebrate their 70th anniversary on Saturday, Feb. 8. The family will join them on Sunday to help them celebrate at Overlook in Warrenton. The Zinns raised eight children; they have 13 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren.
Mark your calendar now for these important RAA registration dates: between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Feb. 22 and 29 at Amissville fire hall, Rappahannock High School and Flint Hill fire hall. Registration will be held at the Jeffersonton Community Center from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 22.
Boys or girls, ages 6 to 18, as of Aug. 1, are eligible. The Rappahannock Athletic Association (RAA) invites anyone from adjoining counties to participate. Last year 236 kids participated.
Anyone desiring to join the allgirls softball team may also register at any of the above locations. If enough interest to justify a separate team it will be formed; otherwise, they may choose to join the regular Little League baseball teams or have their money refunded.

We’re happy to report that Curtis Stuart has returned from an eight-day trip to Mexico where he and 21 other volunteers from the area built a church. He and Brian Goldizen represented Culpeper Assembly. On Sunday they shared their experiences with the congregation. Rev. Stev Messick of Midland arranged the missions trip.
