a composer and recording artist for Narada/MCA Records. His work, called “intensely imaginative” by Stereo Review, is performed regularly by the musical group Trapezoid, which he directs.

Trapezoid, a nationally acclaimed musical ensemble, has appeared in over 1,600 concerts throughout North America, and is based in Washington, Va. In fact, throughout the 17 years of its existence, Trapezoid has always made its home in a rural community.

Besides his work as a composer and songwriter, Mr. Reisler is also the producer of recordings by John McCutcheon, and he tours as composer and performer with Ki Theatre.

Accompanying Mr. Reisler on the Feb. 16 “Exchange” program will be Martha Sandefer, vocalist, Cecil Hooker, violinist and Bob Read, wind and keyboard player. All are members of Trapezoid.
