Hie Flint Rill Ladies Auxiliary met at the fire hall for their July meeting with 14 members present. They were Mary Blaisdale, Mary Curtis, Mary Frances Bywaters, Lucy Foster, Ellen Joback, Mabel Lillard, Alice Pullen, Jeanetta , Pullen, Gaynelle Russell, Libby Wharton, Evelyn Walker, Patty Lanning, Jean Lillard and Arland Welch.

The group discussed plans for the annual firemen’s carnival to be held July 29,30,31 and Aug. 1.

Paula Howell of Madison Heights spent the weekend with her mother Russie Miller. They motored to Culpeper on Saturday.

Grant and Joan Patton of Stephens City were Saturday guests of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lilian!. Sunday visitors of the Lillards were Clyde Lillard and Shelby Lillard.

Jack and Mary Curtis visited their son Jim Curtis at Linden on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Pullen, Jerry Jr. and Evonne of Washington are proud to announce the birth of a daughter and sister Megan Elaine born June 21 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Megan weighed seven pounds and 12 ounces and was 20 inches long.
