Miller, noted in the state legislature for his debating ability, doesn’t expect to make a lot of money from the songs, but is immensely enjoying the opportunity to perform in public again. He is even dusting off a number of songs he’s written through the years - including one called “Electric Lady,” he and I co-authored a dozen or so years ago - with an eye toward cutting a few albums in the future.
And if he’s nominated for governor, Miller says that he plans to sing some of the songs as he travels around the state. “I think politics and music go well together.”
