The Culpeper-Madison - Rappahannock Farm Show will be held July 23-27 at Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises on Route 29 south of Culpeper.

Special events include: farm fun days 4-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 1 -4 p.m. on Sunday, July 26; Swine show, 7 p.m., Friday, July 24; rabbit show, 11 a.m., Friday, July 24; sheep show, 3 p.m., Friday, July 24; and beef show, 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 24. On Saturday, July 25, the goat show will be at 9 a.m.; western horse show at 9 a.m.; cat show at 11 a.m.; stockman's judging at 1:30 p.m. A dog show will be held at noon on Sunday, July 26; a pet show will be at 2 p.m.; beef fitting and showing at 5 p.m.

The homemakers building is open for viewing of exhibits on Friday, 4-9 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 4:30 p.m.

The 4-H hunter horse show and tractor driving contest are 9 a.m. Monday, July 27. The Farm Show concludes on Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. with the 4-H Livestock sale of hogs, beef, and lambs.

A new event this year is the 4-H teen dance 9 p.m.-midnight on Saturday, July 25. Tickets are $2. The danpe is for 4-H members and guests only. Tickets must be purchased in advanced from the Rappahannock Extension Office; no tickets will be sold at the door.
