Bittinger. She recently sold her half of the concern to her partner and is not longer formally involved in the business.
The Bittingers say living in Rappahannock has been a real joy thus far. “We love it here,” said Bittinger. “We love the natural beauty of the area and the people we have met have been so friendly and helpful."
“This is a place that is really responsive to individuals and what they really want,” said Mrs. Bittinger. “There is not that feeling of disenfranchisement that we felt living in Washington.”
Bittinger, a man of many talents, can also be found playing the hammered dulcimer at Four & Twenty Blackbirds on Saturday nights. He is a welcome addition to the arts community of Rappahannock County.
