On Saturday, Aug. 8 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Washington, Mary Beth Bayne, daughter of Deacon and Mrs. James L. Bayne of Fairfax, formerly of Washington, was married to David Frost George of Sharon, Pa. The bridegroom is the son of Joseph George of Hermitage, Pa. and Karen Frost George of Sharon, Pa.
To the strains of Pachelbel’s Canon, the bride’s grandfather, Hugo B. Valeri, who celebrated his 86th birthday on that day, escorted the bride to the altar, the 4 o’clock double ring ceremony was performed by the bride’s father, Deacon Jim Bayne.
