Spanish has been taught to elmentary students for several fears. Last year it was brought to le high school with one section of Spanish I. This year there will be hree sections of Spanish I and two tections of Spanish II. Spanish teacher Liz Blubaugh will be teaching nil time. She will also be teaching Spanish for two sixth and seventh graders for a semester at each grade evel.

As Spanish has picked up, Latin ind French enrollment has dropped. Last year there was one section each jf Latin I, Latin II, and Latin III. rhese classes were offered through the electronic classroom on television. This year there are three students signed up for Latin II, but none for Latin I or Latin III. Principal Toth expects Latin to end aft4r this year, but he said the equipment purchased through bonds for the electronic classroom will continue to receive heavy use. Librarian Beth Scott tapes many programs received from the satellite for classroom use, and the fax machine is used daily.
