Literacy has
patience
To the Editor:
September is National Literacy Month. It’s a good time to take a look at the goals our national leaders have set. With all the talk about Workplace 2,000 and the need to have better educated workers, the stated objectives of 100 percent literacy before that date is unrealistic.
