"It worries me that we have a commercial establishments in agriculture districts," Dr. Krebser said. "We're going to have restaurants up and down the road if we re allowing bed and breakfasts to do that. There is something wrong with the ordinance if it allows that.”
County Administrator John McCarthy said a bed and breakfast business can serve as many meals as it has beds for. So if it has five rooms it could serve 10 meals three; times a day. Thistle Hill has four rooms for rent.
Dr. Krebser said, "I think we're going down the wrong way. We can't differentiate between a restaurant and any other commercial business."
Mrs. Wilson said, "We don't consider our- 1 selves a restaurant. We do meals by reservation." She said they serve guests from other bed and breakfasts that don’t serve meals. In addition, they have a few parties and weddings, with a limit of 35 guests "and never on a day we have a houseful of guests."
