Hospice of the Rapidan is a nonprofit group which provides skilled medical care, social services and volunteer support to patients with a limited life expectancy. Established by community volunteers in 1983, Hospice of the Rapidan has cared for over 1,000 patients and their families in Rappahannock, Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison and Orange counties.
Support from the community makes it possible for Hospice of the Rapidan to provide comprehensive hospice care for everyone, without charge, and regardless of their financial resources.
