Amissville Girl Scout Troop 920 held a small Christmas party to exchange gifts, play a few games and make Christmas cards for their parents. Our thoughts are with those who could not be with us due to illness.
The flu bug has really hit our area. Schools are reporting absenteeism is high for both students and teachers. Even folks who received a flu shot are not immune. It is so hard to shake the cough, the sniffles and the fatigue.
