honor to have served on the council, and he hoped the residential atmosphere of the town continues. After applause from the 20 or so residents in the audience and the council, Mayor Stew Willis thanked him for his contributions to the town. At the November meeting the council will accept nominations and then decide who will fill the vacancy.
Skowronski did agree to remain on the town parking committee.
Treasurer Elaine Viguerie presented a draft of the Washington Water Works customer policies that the council is considering. It stated that water bills over six months delinquent would be charged $1500 in addition to the delinquent bill. "~ Landlords of rental units would be held responsible for the charge before water service would be resumed.
Viguerie presented her report for the Washington Water Works, noting that 233,000 gallons of treated water were lost in August . and 142,000 gallons were lost in September.
