What Commonwealth’s Attorney Peter Luke termed “probably the longest running case before this court” came before the judge again last week.
Crystal Roxanne Hill, who first came before the court in the early ‘80s, was charged with violation of probation after having been dropped from the Bethany House program in Roanoke. Hill has a long history of abuse of prescription narcotics. However when she left Bethany House sne enrolled herself in a mission program, got a job and attends “ NA meetings regularly. The judge decided to leave her on probation, let her continue in her present program, also in Roanoke, and set a new court date to hear a representative from the mission program report on her progress. The case is set for Nov. 13.
