I have been voting for 55 years.
There are people in some countries that do not get to vote because the system does not allow a choice. There are many who just don’t care enough to vote. Then there are those that vote but waste the vote in the sense they pick their choice for many wrong reasons.
For example, I voted the wrong way for 25 years. I voted for the party that my father and his father voted for. I never knew whether the candidate was any good or not. I suppose over the years I might get one right, but it was a lucky accident.
