The council voted unanimously to accept Gooch’s recommendation for the Post Office as the optimum location, the square design, and Byam as the new kiosk project manager.

Tompkins reported that the town’s website has been used for requests for brochures from states mainly on the eastern half of the country and from as far away as Denmark and Lithuania. Wendy Weinberg thanked him for his work and said it was a good reflection on the town.

Old business

Town Attorney Frank Reynolds said a title search was continuing on the Masonic Cemetery. The decision has not been made as to whether the town will accept the ownership of the cemetery from the Masons.

Viguerie suggested new customer policies for the Washington Water Works that dealt with delinquent bills. Reynolds will draft the proposal and present it for the council’s approval next month.
