Marshall Wayne Lake Sr., 58, of Front Royal, died Thursday, Oct. 15.
He was bom in Winchester on Nov. 14, 1939, son of Goldie May Lake.
He was married on June 6, 1959.
He was the owner of M. Lake Paving Company in Front Royal.
Surviving are his wife Rosie May Soules Lake and children Goldie May Lake Calvin and husband Roy; Marshall Wayne Lake Jr. and wife Crystal and Tina Marie Lake, all of Front Royal.
Additional survivors include two brothers John Lake and Herbert Lake of Front Royal; three sisters Ann Plaugher, Nina Fake of Strasburg and Joyce Carper of Front Royal and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Oct. 18 at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. Jerry Young. Interment followed in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charles Clatterbuck, Junior Vaught, Webb Davis, Charles Frazier, Thornton Jackson Sr. and Thornton Jackson Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were Penny Taylor, Thomas Riley, Benton Shipe, Ritchie Vaught and Tommy Showers. I Memorial contributions
