Halloween dance scheduled
The After School Club invites you to a costume dance on Friday, Oct. 30 from 6 to 9 p.m, at the Washington School on Mt. Salem Avenue. Any child under 14 and all parents are welcomed to join in the family fun. The cost is $2 per person, $6 family max. In addition to dancing, there will be a costume contest, dance contest for children and adults, face painting, cake walk and bobbing for apples. Food and drinks will be available.
Book Fair planned at RCES
Rappahannock County Elementary School Library is currently hosting a Scholastic Book Fair and it will continue through Wednesday, Oct. 28. The fair will be open from 8:15 a.m. until 4 p.m. on school days with additional hours on Wednesday, Oct. 21 from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. during parent conferences. Resolution to honor Mr. Fletcher
The Rappahannock County Bar Association on Friday, Oct. 23 at 4:30 p.m. will present a Memorial Resolution in honor of the late James W. Fletcher, who died on March 10, 1998, to the Judge or Judges of the Circuit Court of the Twentieth Judicial Circuit of Virginia convened in Special Session at the Rappahannock County Courthouse in Washington. Interested individuals are invited to attend.
