Cubmaster Joe Peregory and Cub Scout Troop 123 were hiking on Skyline Drive on Saturday and later enjoyed a picnic at the Pinnacles Camp ground.
Mrs. Ray Frazier was a Saturday guests of her mother Mrs. Eunice Meade in Culpeper and was joined by her sister Linda Weakley of Standardsville.
This week through Saturday, the 24th has been declared as School Bus Safety week by our Governor Jim Gilmore in an effort to emphasize the great importance for motorist to completely stop when our children are being loaded or unloaded. So please obey the law, the lives of our school children depend on it everyday.
Belated birthday wishes go out to Jimmy Hamm whose day was Monday and great wishes go out to Mrs. Mabel Webb who celebrates her day tomorrow, Thursday.
Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory and children on Castleton Ford Road were Mrs. Lucille Peregory and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peregory of Front Royal, Shelvy Frazier and Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Grigsby, Chrissy, Kevin and Jason, all local.
Mrs. Rosie Wharton who has spent several weeks with Misses Mary Tharp and Margie Williams has returned to her home in Culpeper and is recuperating nicely. Our prayers are with her for a complete recovery.
