Super pantry

program a

big success

Eight Rappahannock homemakers successfully completed the first Super Pantry Program sponsored by Virginia Cooperative Extension and the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.

Super Pantry combines nutrition education with hands-on cooking skills and provides homemakers with the opportunity to share experiences and learn more about community resources and life skills from guest speakers.

Special thanks to Rev. Phil Bailey, Mary Miller Wood, and members of the Washington Baptist Church who donated space, time, and support to this program.

A modified pantry program will continue at the Extension Office and new participants are cordially invited. For further information, call Judy Stevens at 727-3435, ext. 8, or Jan Palmer at 675-3619.

If you have a disability and desire any assistive devices, services or other accommoda-. tions to participate in any of these activities, call 675-3619.
