artists wanted
The Piedmont Artists’ League invites all Rappahannock artists to participate in a nonjuried show and sale from Friday, Dec. 7 through Saturday, Dec. 15 at Art-N-More in Warrenton. The show will coincide with the first week of Old Town Warrenton’s Christmas festivities, with a reception on Dec. 7 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Ten Rappahannock homemakers successfully completed the fall session of Super Pantry Program sponsored by Virginia Cooperative Extension, SCNEP, and the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
For the final class, Heather Greenwood, FCS Agent, presented a special program, “Developing a Spending Plan”.
Super Pantry combines putrition education with handson cooking skills and provides homemakers with the opportunity to share experiences and learn more about community resources and life skills from guest speakers.
Special thanks to Mrs. Jean Gibbs and members of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church who donated space, time and support to this program.
