In the last few years the decline seems to have slowed, we may have finally eliminated as much of the towhee’s habitat as we are going too. For most of us, there will still be a couple of days a year when we look out and see a big, energetic sparrow, dapper and determined, throwing seed as it scratches up its next meal.
