RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY, VIRGINIA Pursuant to Sections 170-108.5, 170-108.6, and 170-129 of the Rappahannock County Code and Section 15.2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors for Rappahannock County, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on MONDAY, DECEMBER 3,2001 at 7:00 p.m. in the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia in order to consider the following application: Application for Personal Wireless Services Facilities Use Permit and for Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan of Rappahannock County PWSFU Permit #01 -08-01 ’ Application by Sprint PCS to construct either a 199’ monopole Category 4 facility on property (referred to as “Duxbury Isthmus”) owned by Robert A. and Joan M. Duxbury on Tax Map 33, Parcel 62, zoned “A” - Agricultural, located on Weaver Road in Amissville, Jackson District, OR alternatively, a 199’ monopole Category 4 facility on property (referred to as “Amissville Fire Department") owned by Amissville Volunteer Fire Department on Tax Map 32A-1, Parcel 6, zoned “RR" - Rural Residential, located on Lee Highway in Amissville, Jackson District. Use allowed and regulated under Article XII, Section 170-108.1 et seq of the Rappahannock County Code. The requested facility is also the subject of a proposed amendment to the Comprehensive Plan of Rappahannock County (adopted July 6, 1998), in the form of a map, following the format of mapping contained elsewhere within the Plan, showing the location of any approved facilities, to be inserted at Chapter 5, Public Utilities, and entitled “Personal Wireless Services Facilities”. A copy of the foregoing application is on file at the Zoning Office in Washington, Virginia, and is available for public inspection, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The above-named applicant, adjacent property owners, and any other parties desiring to be heard should be present at said meeting or should address their written comments to the Board of Supervisors, c/o P.O.
