The Rappahannock County Building Office reports for the period running Sept. 21 through Oct. 21 the following permits were issued:
For the month, the office issued six new home permits, four addition/remodel/renovation
and two storage building/garage and one commercial structure permits.
Miscellaneous permits included: one permit for a foundation permit, two permits to remove underground storage tanks, one permit for a metal flue liner and five renewal permits.
The Building Office also reviewed 12 sets of plans, had 168 scheduled inspections, 10 walk-in consultations and eight scheduled consultations.
The year to date totals are: 57 new home construction and three commercial building permits for the year 2001.
