Get ready for the eighth annual Christmas Tour of Homes in historic Culpeper. This year’s tour features seven homes and two churches on North East Street and East Piedmont Street. The South East Neighborhood Watch sponsors the tour with proceeds contributed to scholarships for Culpeper County High School students. Theatre's production set

Tickets are now on sale for Windmore Community Theatre’s production of “The Importance of Being Earnest”. This Victorian farce, written by Oscar Wilde is sure to provide an evening of laughs. Show dates are Nov. 16 and 17 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. at Culpeper County Middle School. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for seniors 65 and older and children 12 and under. Program offered

Virginia Cooperative Extension offers “The Amiable Environment: Promoting Positive Behavior Through Relationships”. The program will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Heritage Child Development Center in Culpeper.

Inspired by the municipal preschools of Reggio Emilia, Italy this day will be filled with new and innovative techniques for relationships. There is a $10 material and refreshment fee. For a registration form contact Sandy Lillard at 727-3435, extension 352.

Shooting match slated

The Castleton Community Volunteer Fire Company is currently sponsoring a shooting match on Friday nights beginning at 7 p.m. Rules are 12 gauge shotguns; 25 yard shooting range; no scopes, no sleeves and 36 inch barrel maximum length.
