They defeated Madison County on Monday and Clarke County and Madison County again on Saturday. The Lady Panthers raced through the two matches on
Saturday scoring 60 points in the four games and giving up only 11.
Ryisha Cook had 14 aces in the Clarke match and also had a great number of service points in the Madison match as the Panthers won 15-2,15-0. Clarke faired little better losing 15-2,15-7.
The JV girls' volleyball team split two matches with Madison County, both scores were 2-1, and defeated Clarke County 2-1.
Against Clarke and Madison on Saturday the team easily was able to win the first games but faltered in both second games.
Against Clarke the team rebounded to soundly defeat the Eagles but the Mountaineers hung around in the third game before the Little Lady Panthers got two service points from Rebecca Tupper to get the win 15-13. Rebecca also had the game winner against Clarke County.
