Suppose practice had been held on Jam. 16 or 17 and late one of those evenings a student had had a serious accident on a back road driving home. Methinks a letter asking for administration blood for allowing practice to take place would have been the result.
As for the loss in the match in Richmond, is it not also possible that the other teams were simply better that day? Or maybe our team was not prepared mentally by the coach to handle the possibility of several days missed practice prior to a match.
Perhaps they have not really learned how to overcome adversity however it presents itself. And, pardon my naivete in 21st century Amelia, but is winning really the only thing?
With respect to the assertion that the GPA of the wrestling team is the highest of any organization, I wonder how this comparison was made.
But beyond this looms the question of deferral to any group on a safety matter because erf academic standing and/or sports victory.
