The UHh annual Rappahannock Relay ter Late wtll be held May 17-18 at the Rappahannock County Elementary School. For many years the locus of Relay for lute h;is been celebrating the lives of both those who have survived cancer and those who have not. Each year cancer survivors m our community have walked, run. or propelled their wheelchairs around the first lap of the Relay- in celebration of their victory against cancer loiter in the evening, the luminary ceremony also honored cancer survivors but. more importantly, remembered those who lost their battle against cancer. We will do all that again this year but we have added a new force: fighting back. The purpose of this new tin-us is to show us all how to change behaviors that lead to cancer and to encourage us to volunteer and take action to fight cancer year
