the same, generally speaking, but in a sense they, too, have changed some. No more chestnuts! Those wonderful trees that were a part of specie that covered the mountains and wooded hills. And the waters of Rush River no longer turn the wheels of all the old mills that were along its course, but it keeps rolling along. The old pine" trees that looked down on my birthplace are no more, and many such things are all of the past.
And of the folk who made up the life of my time are all too few, and the names are borne by others and strangers to us, but bearing the names of those once friends and acquaintances of us.
In spite of all this, we still want to hear about them in the news. related to the- Blue Ridge Guide.
Incidentally, I was somewhat Cary being a second cousin of ours.
