J. Hill O’Bannon and Mrs. Lily Barber visited Mrs. Jennie Miller at Slate Mills on Wednesday, Mrs Miller is recovering ve^y satisfactory from her recent illness.

Mrs. Joseph H. Aylor, who has been ill for the past week, is able to be out again.

Robert Estes has returned to his place of business, after having spent several weeks in Newport News.

Culpeper visitors on Wednesday were Miss Nellie Johnson, Mrs. C. B. Johnson, Mrs. J. H. Filling.

Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Graig of Falls Church, Irving Wagner of Crimora and Mrs. M. H. Wagner of Port Republic, were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Wagner.

Misses Ruby and Charlotte Pullen were Friday evening visitors of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson.

Mrs. May Compton of Culpeper who has been visiting Misses Lillie and Nellie Johnson, returned home on Wednesday.

Jack Dennis and Miss Colleen Dennis were the week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Dennis.

Mrs. S. G. Bruce was a week- - end guest of her daughter, Mrs. C. E. Brown and Mr. Brown.

Miss .Marjorie Snead, who is with hte Health Department in Orange, came for her usual weekend visit with her mother, Mrs. Annie K. Snead, who is recuperating from a recent illness in the home of her son and daughter-in-law Dr. and Mrs. John P. Snead.

Raymond Johnson and Mrs. R. II. Carder motored to Charlottesville on Wednesday. They were accompanied home by Mrs. R. M. Johnson, who has been a patient in University Hospital for the past week.

Miss Ruth Bancroft of Buffalo, N. Y., was the guest for several days this week of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bailey.

Joseph B. Reid of North Carolina State College, Raleigh, spent the week end at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Reid.

Miss Anne Revercomb of Charleston, West Virginia, and Miller Price of VPI, were the week-end guests of Mrs. J. W. Price at "The Maples.”
